The Great Unknown

Usually this time of year is spent preparing for the season ahead. Remedial works, servicing equipment and vehicles, checking supply chains. This year it’s the same as usual but with one major difference... Nobody knows when we will actually get going again and how busy we will be... The great unknown!

Of course many hope society is like a coiled sprung, ready to leap into action as soon as we’re given the all clear, but after many false dawns will trepidation get the better of us. So as we continue getting ourselves ready for a possible summer of action the old adage is certainly appropriate, ‘Hope for the best, prepare for the worse’.
